TEN/10
The Timing of Enteral Nutrition (TEN/10) study is the next ICM focused NWRAG project. The study is aiming to be started in the spring/summer of 2019 and will look at the provision of nutrition in the critical care population, particularly looking at enteral feeding practices.
IronMan
The Preoperative Iron Use Across Greater Manchester study is in the final stages of development.
The study will be run in a phased process over 2021, and is planned to commence in Feb 2021.

National Projects

PEACHY
PEACHY is the upcoming project from PATRN (Paediatric Anaesthesia Trainee Research Network). It is aiming to look at the impact of obesity on the perioperative care of paediatric patients, including of any increased risk.
The project has now launched, with an anticipated start date of September 2019. Check out more at their website here.
ObsQoR Study
This national multi-centre study, led by the team at Guys and St. Thomas' Hospital, is looking at the quality of recovery of obstetric patients who receive anaesthetic input.
